Coleraine aim for the Crawford Cup
COLERAINE Rugby Club will descend on Ravenhill on Easter Tuesday - and they plan to bring back the Crawford Cup. The Seconds have been having a great season and the icing on the cake is a cup final spot against Ballynahinch Thirds at Ravenhill.
Coleraine have taken the Cup home twice before, back in 1982 when Johnny Patterson guided the side to victory and again in 2005 when Victor McMullan lead the Bannsiders to a very satisfying win.
This year it is the turn of Welshman Adam Tunney to inspire his squad and bring the spoils back to the club.
He said: "I will be looking for the maximum effort from every player and I know I will get it. We beat Ballynahinch earlier in the season and that gives us some confidence.
"We are focussed and we will be training again at the weekend. We have a good mix of experience, youth and skill and I am confident that we will win through on the day."
Buses are going from the club to the match. Details at the clubhouse.
The match starts at 2.30pm, Easter Tuesday, March 25, at Ravenhill. GOOD LUCK FROM EVERYONE AT COLERAINE RUGBY CLUB
