Yet again, the league tie between Coleraine and Ballymoney, provisionally scheduled for Monday, December 28, has been cancelled due to the continuing bad weather. The decision was made on Sunday afternoon. The match had originally been scheduled for Boxing Day but had to be called off because of the freezing conditions. The new date was pencilled in but the weather has not yet moderated and the pitches are still snow bound and frozen. A new date of January 9 has been suggested by Coleraine. Both sides have byes in the Towns Cup that day and it seems that it may be a suitable time for the game. Discussions are ongoing and a final decision is epected soon.
